PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE NEW IRS PAYMENT CHANGES
Starting Jan 1st, 2026 the IRS will NO LONGER accept tax payments via check, all tax payments must be paid online. The IRS will also NO LONGER BE ISSUING REFUNDS VIA CHECK, and all refund payments will be made via Direct Deposit.
If you make Quarterly Estimated Payments and have a payment due in January any payments made ON OR AFTER JANUARY 1st will have to be made electronically. If you wish to make that payment via check, we recommend mailing your check NO LATER than December 30th.
Please update your direct deposit information with us if you are expecting a refund. You can upload a voided check to your SmartVault file with your tax documents
